Work-Zone Limits and Traffic Flow

Drawings should clearly show the live carriageway, affected lanes, work area, tapers, direction of travel and transition back to normal traffic.

Temporary Traffic Signs

Warning, regulatory and directional signs should be shown at the required locations and in a sequence that matches the traffic-management arrangement.

Cones, Delineators and Barriers

Temporary channelising devices and barriers should be represented consistently so the drawing communicates the exact separation between traffic and the activity area.

TMA and Impact-Protection Symbols
