RTA NOC Drawing Revision Checklist Dubai

When an RTA NOC application receives drawing comments, the revision should be controlled carefully so every requested change is addressed without creating new inconsistencies elsewhere in the submission.

1. Create a Comment Register

List every review comment and identify the drawing, note or supporting document affected. Assign each item a status so nothing is missed during revision.

2. Update the Correct Drawing Version

Confirm that the team is working from the latest submitted file. Avoid revising an older version that does not include previous approved changes.

3. Make the Requested Change Clearly

Where appropriate, use revision clouds, notes or other controlled revision methods so the change can be located quickly during review.

4. Check Related Information

A change to one drawing may affect dimensions, signs, barriers, access points, work limits or notes elsewhere. Review all related sheets before resubmission.

5. Align Drawings With Supporting Documents

If dates, work scope, equipment or access arrangements changed, update the method statement, cover letter or application details where required.

6. Review Naming and Revision Numbers

Use consistent file names, revision numbers and dates. A clear document-control trail helps prevent the reviewer from opening the wrong file.

7. Prepare a Response to Comments

State how each comment was addressed and where the change can be found. Keep the response concise and specific.

8. Complete a Final Cross-Check

Before resubmission, compare the revised package against the full comment list and confirm all files belong to the same revision cycle.
