1. Confirm the Existing System Condition

Record the current system, visible damage, barrier interface and surrounding work-zone condition.

2. Confirm the Replacement System

Check the model, configuration, project requirement and available installation space before delivery.

3. Plan Temporary Protection

If the exposed hazard will be unprotected during removal and replacement, define the temporary traffic-management arrangement before work starts.

4. Prepare Access and Lifting

Confirm vehicle access, lifting requirements, working space and safe handling of the existing and replacement equipment.

5. Keep Required Records Ready

Prepare photographs, delivery records, equipment identification and installation documentation for handover.

6. Verify Final Alignment and Visibility

After installation, check the system position, barrier interface, approach path, visibility and surrounding traffic-control equipment.
