Road Safety Equipment Delivery & Site Acceptance Checklist Dubai
Road safety equipment should be checked when it reaches site, not only when it is installed. A structured delivery and acceptance process helps contractors confirm that the correct equipment has arrived in usable condition and matches the planned work-zone setup.

1. Check the Delivery Against the Equipment Schedule
Compare delivered quantities with the approved equipment list or project request. Identify missing or substituted items before installation starts.
2. Inspect Physical Condition
Review signs, barriers, cones, bases, lamps, arrow boards and other devices for transport damage, missing components or visible defects.
3. Verify Sign Information
Confirm that sign faces, legends, sizes and directional messages match the planned traffic arrangement. Incorrect signs can create conflicting information on site.
4. Check Bases, Supports and Accessories
Make sure the required stands, weights, fixings, batteries, lamps and other accessories are included with the main equipment.
5. Record Traceability Where Needed
For project-critical equipment, record identification, model or relevant reference so the site team can track what was deployed.
6. Separate Defective Items
Do not mix damaged or incomplete equipment with accepted stock. Mark defective items and arrange replacement or repair.
7. Complete the Acceptance Record
Keep a simple delivery record showing date, quantities, condition, photographs and responsible receiver.
