Record the Condition Before Moving Equipment

Where it is safe and appropriate, record the condition of the system before it is moved. Useful records may include:

• Overall photographs from several angles
• Close-up photographs of visible damage
• Location and date
• Barrier or hazard being protected
• Any displacement from the original position
• Condition of adjacent barriers, signs or delineation

Avoid Making an Informal Reuse Decision
