TMA Rental Scope of Work Checklist Dubai
A clear scope of work helps the contractor and TMA provider agree what equipment, operator support, mobilisation and working hours are required before the project begins. This reduces last-minute changes and helps the TMA arrive ready for the intended work-zone activity.
HMJ Contracting provides TMA rental and road-safety support across Dubai. Call +971 50 778 9046.
1. Define the Project Location and Work Type
State the exact road, work area and activity. Clarify whether the TMA will support stationary works, lane closures, mobile operations, maintenance or another approved arrangement.
2. Confirm Rental Dates and Shift Hours
List the expected start date, duration, daily shift times and any night work. Include allowance for mobilisation and demobilisation.
3. Define Operator Requirements
Confirm whether the rental includes an operator and what project-specific briefing or access requirements apply.
4. Confirm TMA Position and Work-Zone Role
The scope should identify whether the vehicle will operate as shadow protection, stationary protection or in another role shown on the approved traffic-management drawing.
5. List Warning and Visibility Requirements
Confirm warning lights, conspicuity, night visibility and any project-specific equipment requirements.
6. Confirm Communication Arrangements
Define who the operator reports to, how site instructions are issued and how changes to the work zone will be communicated.
7. Define Standby and Change Requirements
If the work may move between locations or require standby time, state this in advance so the rental arrangement reflects the actual project need.
See TMA Rental Dubai and the TMA mobilisation checklist.
