Road Safety Equipment Loss & Damage Control Register Dubai

Temporary road safety equipment can be moved, damaged or lost during active work. A simple control register helps the site team track equipment condition, location and replacement needs so the work zone remains properly protected.

HMJ Contracting supplies road safety equipment for Dubai projects, including signs, cones, barriers and warning devices. Call +971 50 778 9046.

1. Record the Equipment Issued

List the quantity and type of signs, cones, barriers, lights and other items deployed to the site.

2. Identify the Deployment Area

Record where each group of equipment is installed or stored so missing items can be identified quickly.

3. Log Damage Immediately

Note bent signs, broken barriers, damaged lights, missing bases or any item no longer fit for use.

4. Separate Damaged Equipment

Remove defective equipment from active deployment to avoid it being reused by mistake.

5. Record Losses

Document missing items and the date or shift when the loss was identified.

6. Arrange Replacement

Assign responsibility for replacing damaged or missing items and confirm when the work zone has been restored to the required setup.

7. Review the Register Regularly

Use the register during weekly audits, shift handovers and demobilisation to improve equipment control.
