Road Safety Equipment Weekly Maintenance Register Dubai

Road safety equipment is repeatedly moved, exposed to weather and affected by vehicle and site activity. A weekly maintenance register helps contractors identify damaged or missing equipment before it affects work-zone safety or site compliance.

HMJ Contracting supplies road safety equipment and traffic control devices for Dubai projects. Call +971 50 778 9046.

List the Equipment by Type

Record the quantity and location of signs, cones, barriers, warning lights, delineators and other work-zone devices.

Check Physical Condition

Inspect for cracks, bent frames, faded faces, damaged reflective surfaces, loose bases or missing components.

Verify Visibility

Signs and warning devices should remain visible from the intended approach direction. Remove dirt, dust or obstructions that reduce visibility.

Test Warning Lights

Where lights or electronic devices are used, confirm operation, battery condition and mounting security.

Review Placement

Check that equipment has not been moved by wind, traffic, deliveries or site activity. Compare the arrangement with the approved traffic management plan where applicable.

Record Replacements

List damaged items removed from service and the replacement provided. Keep the register linked to stock or delivery records where possible.

Close Out Outstanding Defects

Assign each defect to a responsible person and record the completion date once corrected.
