TMA Route Risk Assessment Dubai
A Truck Mounted Attenuator must reach and leave the work zone safely. Route planning should therefore be reviewed before mobilisation, especially when the vehicle will move through busy junctions, restricted access points or changing work areas.
HMJ Contracting provides TMA rental and road-safety support in Dubai. Call +971 50 778 9046.
1. Confirm the Mobilisation Route
Identify the planned route from the depot or staging area to the work zone. Review major junctions, lane changes and access restrictions.
2. Check Vehicle Access
Confirm that the TMA vehicle can safely enter and exit the site without creating an unnecessary conflict with live traffic or site equipment.
3. Review Staging and Waiting Areas
Select a safe location for the TMA to wait before deployment. The location should support visibility, communication and quick entry into the approved work zone.
4. Consider Night or Low-Visibility Conditions
If mobilisation occurs at night, check lighting, warning systems, route visibility and any temporary traffic changes.
5. Coordinate With the Site Team
The operator should know the work location, expected deployment position, contact person and any last-minute changes before entering the work zone.
6. Reassess After Major Changes
A route should be reviewed again if access changes, road works move, traffic arrangements change or project staging is relocated.
