TMA Vehicle Repositioning Authorization Log Dubai
A TMA vehicle may need to move during a shift because the work area, crew position or traffic arrangement changes. Repositioning should be controlled so the vehicle does not leave the work zone unprotected or move to a location that no longer matches the approved arrangement.
HMJ Contracting supports TMA vehicle operations in Dubai and provides TMA rental for road works and lane closures.
1. Record the Requested Movement
Note the current position, proposed position and reason for the change.
2. Confirm the Work Activity
Check whether the crew is stationary, moving or entering a new phase.
3. Review the Traffic Arrangement
Make sure the proposed TMA position remains consistent with the active work-zone layout.
4. Assign Approval
Record the supervisor or responsible person authorising the move.
5. Brief the Operator
The operator should understand the new position, route and communication contact.
6. Protect the Transition
Avoid leaving workers exposed while the TMA moves between positions.
7. Confirm the New Position
After repositioning, record the final location and time.
8. Verify Warning Equipment
Check lights, beacons and arrow-board visibility after the vehicle is in place.
9. Record Any Deviation
If the actual position differs from the plan, note the reason and escalate where required.
10. Include the Move in Shift Handover
The next operator or supervisor should know the current TMA position and why it changed.
A simple repositioning log improves traceability and reduces confusion during active road works.
