ROWPS Reinstatement Plan Checklist Dubai

Works inside the public Right of Way often require the contractor to show how affected surfaces and public areas will be restored after the activity is complete. A clear reinstatement plan should match the approved work limits and describe the intended final condition.

1. Identify Every Affected Surface

List the areas that may be disturbed, such as pavement, verge, kerb, carriageway, landscape areas or utility corridors.

2. Match Reinstatement to Work Limits

The reinstatement plan should cover the same work boundaries shown in the application drawings. Avoid unexplained gaps between excavation limits and reinstatement limits.

3. State the Intended Final Condition

Describe how the area will be returned to service after the works. The final condition should be clear enough for the site team to understand what completion means.

4. Coordinate Materials and Sequence

Confirm the intended materials, work sequence and any temporary condition before final reinstatement. Where several activities overlap, define the order clearly.

5. Protect Access During Reinstatement

Review pedestrian, vehicle and property access while reinstatement is underway. Temporary traffic-management controls may still be required until the area is fully returned to service.

6. Record the Completed Condition

Prepare photographs and completion records showing the final condition. These records can support closeout and future project phases.

7. Keep the Plan Consistent With the Permit Set

Check that reinstatement references, dates and drawings match the ROWPS application package and latest approved revisions.
