A platform can stand clear of a cycle track while its delivery vehicle still crosses the track to reach the building. For a Dubai facade cleaning job, trace the journey from vehicle arrival to equipment collection. The operating position alone can hide the most important conflict.

Photograph the crossing from both approaches

Mark the property boundary, direction of travel, vehicle entrance and proposed equipment position on one plan. Pair each site photo with a location and direction arrow. A photograph facing the building may show the entrance clearly but leave the drawing team unable to see the view available to a person approaching on the track.

Give each stage its own line

  • Delivery: Where does the vehicle stop, and does the unloading or equipment transfer cross the track?
  • Cleaning: Does the specialist’s proposed ground-level work area, including hoses, affect the track or a neighbouring footpath?
  • Collection: Will equipment leave by the same gate, with the same surrounding access conditions?

For example, a delivery might enter through an internal service gate while collection is proposed from the street. Label the collection route as a separate proposal rather than showing the inward arrow in reverse.

Resolve the conflict before briefing the crew

If a conflict remains, send the drawing and photographs to the responsible traffic designer. Do not instruct cyclists to use a footpath or carriageway on the strength of an informal sketch. Confirm the applicable permissions and use the arrangement reviewed for the site. A change in equipment or gate can require a fresh assessment.

For ROWPS permits for building cleaning and maintenance works, send the cleaning method, supply route and proposed dates alongside the marked-up plan. Our cleaning hose route guide covers the connection between the water source and the work area.
