Step 1 — Determine If a ROW Permit Is Required

Any works within the road Right of Way boundary — including utility installations, pavement modifications, kerb works, and infrastructure construction — require a ROW permit. Step 2 — Prepare Documentation

Prepare all required documents to RTA standard: engineering drawings, traffic management plan, method statement, reinstatement plan, and equipment schedule. Upload all documents through the portal. Ensure file formats and sizes comply with ROWPS requirements. Incomplete submissions are rejected automatically — every required field and document must be present.

Step 5 — RTA Review
