A signed pour card may tell the concrete supplier that a site team is ready for concrete. It does not tell a driver that a public access route is available or that a road occupation has been authorised. For a Dubai casting operation, give the dispatcher a separate confirmation of access readiness.

Use two decisions, with two named owners

The construction team decides whether the pour can proceed under its own controls. The designated access coordinator checks the receiving position, current traffic arrangement and applicable permit status. A person confirming one item should not be recorded as having confirmed the other unless that responsibility has been assigned.

Pour status Access status Dispatch record
Ready Not confirmed Hold the booking; obtain access confirmation.
Not ready Available Do not release a mixer solely because space is clear.
Ready Confirmed Use the agreed dispatch sequence and current booking reference.

Record what the confirmation covers

Enter the pour location, pump position, mixer entrance, planned slot, responsible contacts and latest update. If the first pour is released, identify whether that applies to one load or a sequence. This working record is a coordination aid, not a substitute for the technical pour card or the authority documents.

If the receiving point changes

Suppose the construction team switches from one pour zone to another while the supplier keeps the original booking. Check the pump and mixer arrangement against the new zone before release. Do not send a truck toward the frontage to wait while the teams resolve the change.

For traffic diversion for loading, unloading and concrete casting works, send the drawing reference and responsible dispatch contact with the planned work window. If the pour is called off, use the cancelled pour coordination guide to obtain acknowledgements from all affected suppliers.
