Where Crash Cushions Are Needed on Road Works

Crash Cushion Specifications for Road Works

The crash cushion specification must match the road speed. Urban road works (40–60 km/h) may use TL-2 rated systems. Highway road works (80–120 km/h) need MASH TL-3 certified systems. The specification must be documented in the equipment schedule submitted with the RTA NOC application.
