Types of Road Works Permits in Dubai

RTA NOC (No Objection Certificate)

Lane Closure Permit

Specifically for temporarily closing one or more lanes on a public road. Requires a traffic management plan with TMA and crash cushion deployment. See our lane closure permit service.

Road Closure Permit

Right of Way (ROW) Permit

Pavement Access Permit

For temporary or permanent pavement access, including construction vehicle crossings and driveway connections.

Heavy Vehicle Mobility Permit

For moving heavy construction vehicles, overweight/overdimension loads, and vehicles during banned times.

For events using public road space — marathons, festivals, and public gatherings.
