A concrete pump position may change because the proposed location is unavailable or the construction sequence has been revised. Moving the pump a short distance can still change mixer turning, pedestrian access and public-road occupation. Review the whole interface rather than only the pump symbol.

Record the reason and new inputs

Identify whether the change is temporary, applies to the entire pour or affects later pours as well. Obtain the revised setup information from the competent pump and site teams. Do not estimate support requirements from a photograph or transfer assumptions from another pump model.

Compare the two layouts

Mark the existing and proposed pump positions on a common base plan. Check the receiving area, mixer approach and departure, work boundary and public access. Record which assumptions no longer hold. The technical team remains responsible for pumping and support assessments; the traffic review does not replace them.

Check the approval impact

The permit coordinator should compare the new arrangement with the issued scope, dates and drawing revision. Determine the required authority review before using a changed public-road layout. A pending request does not authorise an altered occupation. Keep the existing safe arrangement protected while resolving a discrepancy.

Update all affected instructions

The supplier may still be dispatching vehicles against the original gate directions. Reissue the current receiving location, delivery sequence and contact person together. Withdraw superseded sketches from site use. Brief the gate team so the new arrangement is not mixed with old instructions.

Use a defined readiness decision

Before dispatch resumes, confirm the receiving area is available, the traffic arrangement reflects the reviewed layout and the required permission is in place. For a delayed relocation, revisit recovery time as well as pouring time. An unchanged finish date does not make the revised sequence achievable.

Permit coordination and project support

Use the official RTA Right-of-Way utilisation service to check the applicable service requirements. The required approval depends on the actual site and proposed work. RTA and ROWPS references here apply to Dubai; other UAE emirates have their own responsible authorities.
